You may have caught this quirky swing, gypsy, roots and Balkan-influenced dark cabaret band and their irreverent upbeat and foot-stomping shenanigans at gigs around town including the Mullumbimby Music Festival, or heard one of their NCEIA Dolphin Award-nominated tracks, including Single of the Year.

After wowing audiences at the 2017 Guilty Pleasures Cabaret and Burlesque Festival, Class Act Creative are back — returning to the Northern Rivers with some brand new routines and a delightful twist on a favourite!


Creative Directors Alyssa Morgan and Jane McPhie have over twenty years' combined experience in the entertainment industry, with each having outstanding careers as dancers and choreographers locally and internationally. 


Both dancers have graced some of the most prestigious stages around the world. They formed Class Act Creative to provide world class entertainment and push the industry in new and exciting directions.

Caitlin Strongarm is a vaudevillian maelstrom who creates and performs wild, heartfelt and charming acts of interactive theatre.

Her performances weave clown, street performance, soprano singing, immersive theatre, cabaret and mime, and spring from her childlike approach to play and imagination. Caitlin has delighted audiences across Australia and in theatres and at festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival and Brisbane’s Anywhere Festival.

Recent gigs include MC at the DOOMsday Disko Cabaret to farewell Brisbane’s iconic New Globe theatre, and an immersive theatre piece at The Commonwealth Games with acclaimed UK theatre makers, Punchdrunk Theatre and Brisbane’s Imaginary Theatre.

Caitlin will MC The Secret Parlour, bringing two truly unique characters to the night and promising to enthral and captivate audiences with her elastic face, delightful storytelling and physical antics.

El Bari Flamenco is a local flamenco troupe who have enthralled audiences all over the Northern Rivers and Queensland.


They will bring the passion and soul of gypsy culture to The Secret Parlour.


Be captivated by the drama of their storytelling through dance and rhythmic percussion of feet, cajon and guitar.

Deceased French chanteuse and Edith Piaf contemporary Lulu Delacour-Boullaibaise-Crochenbuche-Pomidoux-Paris-St-Germain and cheeky Victorian courtesan Allo Vera are madcap creations of writer, performer and producer Louise McCabe.

After training at Theatre Nepean and working in mainstream theatre, Louise began her cabaret career in 2003. Her one woman show Conversations with Goddesses appeared at the Adelaide Fringe, Byron Bay Centre, Sydney's iconic Vanguard and Brisbane's Anywhere Festival.

Louise was the co-director of Guilty Pleasures Cabaret and Burlesque Festival  in 2017.  In the same year, her play The Runner Up  about a hapless rock chick won the audience pick in the Hot Shorts Competition.

James is a writer and comedian based in the Northern Rivers. James plays the wanna be Richard III in this winter-themed cabaret.
